This was by far the best hotel we were in, in Poland, and honestly one of my best experiences over all, which is saying something as someone that travels and lived in many countries. Firstly the location is ideal just down the street from Wawel Castle and not far from the train station, making it very convenient as it's easily accessible by car unlike some areas in the old town center, and still a 5-10 min walk to the heart of the old town. The decor was beautiful in the room with the moon and they even have a mug designed exclusively for the hotel with an artistic depiction of Krakow on it, which you can purchase for a similar price to other souvenir mugs. I included photos just because it's unique and it's little touches like this, with the cute letter inside of it informing you it's made just for the hotel and you can guy it, that makes the stay feel unique and artistic. In general you can tell love and care was put into the hotel, it's style, and that the staff are quite kind and really care about their job, and that makes all the difference. As someone with experience in the travel industry I can add what a huge difference it can make on a first impression, when you arrive somewhere and people are very cheerful and interested in helping you. It's a completely different experience then when someone seems like they're just doing their job, which is of course acceptable, but when people enjoy or are very good at their work, and it shows, it's a totally different experience that makes the whole trip begin well. The staff were extremely, extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I remember at breakfast - which was excellent by the way - a girl working there named Gabbie saw from across the room my mom couldn't understand how to use the waffle maker and she ran over and helped her and told us about various great places to visit in the town.

The hotel was cosy and clean, with main attractions and restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfasts were exceptional, served from 6:00 to 10;30 am and the staff at the restaurant were polite and friendly. The coffee was decent, and there was a variety of vegan food (i.e. plant-based milk, porridge, hummus, veggies etc.). The Wi-Fi was okay, but I couldn't connect on several occasions and had to tether to a mobile phone. The location is perfect for anything – it's well-connected, with plenty of public transport (trams, buses, e-scooters) nearby, but most of the things you need are in the vicinity. The old town is a 5-min walk, the train station and Galeria Krakowska shopping mall are a 15-min walk, the Wawel castle is a 7-min walk, etc. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Once we mastered climate control, the temperature was just right. There's a capsule espresso machine and a teapot in the room, which we very much appreciate.

Excellent hotel. Friendly, welcoming & helpful staff, especially Jana who we spoke with on a few occasions. A lovely pleasant girl who is a credit to Leonardo Boutique Hotel & perfect in her customer facing position. Also breakfast room staff all welcoming & pleasant. Plenty of breakfast choices on offer, way too many to mention but includes hot options, as well as yoghurt, fruits, nuts, seeds, jams, spreads, choice of bread/rolls, cold meats, waffles & so on. Hotel is immaculate throughout. Bedroom comfy & cosy with a very large comfortable bed. Bathroom very clean with fab shower. On entering hotel you immediately get a warm welcoming feel with the fresh fragrance smell that permeates the entrance & reception area. Fab quiet location immediately across the road from park/walkway & approx 6 min walk to main square. Won't hesitate in recommending this hotel.

We had an amazing stay, the deluxe room definitely worth the money! you get around 50% extra space. The staff was very friendly, assisted with any requests and questions we had. You can even select your own pillow from the pillow's menu. It felt like a 4+ stars hotel. surely NOT a 3 stars. The location is superb! close to Krakow's center and 'other' points of interest. We were worried about parking, but it seems there is enough street parking during the afternoon/nights. If you are lucky, you can reserve one of the two hotel's parking spots for 100 PLN/day (If you park for the night, doesn't worth it - parking at night is free).

It was very important to me to find a hotel in a convenient and central location, but to not have to sacrifice luxury and comfort to do so. Leonardo Hotel is located in such a location and provides the utmost comfort and class! It is approximately a 5 minute walk to the Main Sqaure and a 10-15 minute walk to the Kazimierz. Wavel castle and other attractions are also a stone’s throw away. All of the staff at the hotel are so welcoming and kind, and the place is very clean and refreshing. I believe the price is more than fair for the location and quality of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family.
